I can totally relate to this poem, except it's the other way around. I was the one who moved away. But my best friend and I are still best friends and still see each other, even though we've been apart for almost 4 years. Just hold on to your friendship. It's tough, I know, but ya'll can get through this. Sorry, this is like a speech, so I'll stop. Anyway, take care!
