I stood back and smiled
Saying I was fine
I knew i couldn't have you
And I knew why

You love someone else
Someone besides me
And this wish of returned love
Will never be

I see the way you look
And the way she stares
It makes me wonder
What it's like to be there

How does it feel to be kissed
By someone who truly loves you
And not a person that lies
