Her Paper Walls

by CHAOTIC   Jul 27, 2005

Surrounded by paper walls
She nurses her aching heart
And on the cold, hard floor beside her
Is a pool of tears and broken dreams

She stares at her reflection
What has happened to her?
Once so beautiful, innocent, happy
Now just a faded version of that girl

Take a peek into her world
Can you see what she\'s become?
Lost in a whirlwind of self-destruction
With no hopes of being found

Caught up in the worst
Sometimes holding a razor blade
Getting stoned late at night
Or at the bottom of an empty liquor bottle

But whatever she does
Whatever pain she creates for herself
It\'s not so easy to escape
The shaky paper prison that keeps her safe
From wandering out into reality alone
