More Than Scared

by SunShine   Nov 8, 2003

Sitting in class, the teacher comes near,
and my name spoken is the worst of my fears.
but forkened tongue spats my name as a curse,
while I relax my fears, not confirming the worse.
walking to the front, blood rushing to my ears,
and everything comes to silence and my heart is what I hear.
opening my mouth, expecting sound to come,
but everything is spinning and I am so numb.
muffled voices scream as I sway,
twirling, turning, to my dismay,
and while this game I painfully play,
and sudden black engulfs me this day.
