Mommy

by Mel   Jul 27, 2005

Look, it doesn't hurt Mom
you see that I'm smiling
so why are you crying?
Don't worry, it will stop bleeding Mom
next week they'll just be scars
I'll be fine
I'm not blind
I see what I'm doing
and I'm sorry it hurts you
but I can't help these things I do
it's not me holding this blade
It's the darkness that invades
I'm loving this sting, Mom
It's a wonderful thing, Mom
Why can't you understand?
It's my way of coping
so you don't have to be hoping
that I'll change my ways
these are my dark days
when I'm feeling so low,
I feel better when I see the blood flow
