In the park at the end of my street
I met this boy ever so sweet
He took my heart upon his knee
And then one day went away from me
My father came home late that night
And searched for me from left to right
and through my bedroom door he broke
And found me hanging from a rope
He took his knife to cut me down
And in my jeans a note was found
It read:
"Dig my grave,
Dig it deep,
Marble it from
Head to feet
Above my grave
Place a dove
To show the world
I died for love"
