Life is a trick and loves an illusion
A world filled with so much confusion
She turned him away not a word did she say
He took his own life the very sad day

Cast out into the darkness he became the light
With thoughts of loved ones he turned out the fright
Because of a girl he chucked everything away
His love ran deep more than my words can say

This story is tragic but also a lesson as well
Love can be heaven or love can be hell
He dreamt of rainbows and roses and a love that was true
He took his own life cuz of someone like you
