A young girl

by Andrea broken tears   Jul 27, 2005

Sunday night ten minutes to ten
a young girl thought it was her
end.
She was so weak
because she did not
eat that day.
Ten minutes before she went to bed
she slit her wrist
thinking this the end.
The young girl was getting weak
but she couldn't get to sleep.
She knew she never said goodbye
a smile hidden beneath lies
is how she lives her life
in so much pain and strife.
Shes not expecting to make it through the night
the young girl doesn't even put up a fight.
She lays in her bed
hoping this is the end
as she drifts off to
never land.

**this is a true story because the young girl is me and i almost did succeed in doing that**
