Muted suffering

by Mark   Jul 27, 2005

People seem alright on the outside
But deep inside they are not
You think that they are loving life
When they infact want it to stop

To you they seem happy
Always wearing a smile
But really they are hurting
Crying silent tears all the while

Shutting everyone out their life
And feeling pain on their own
But it's not their fault
That they are all alone

They cry themselves to sleep
Everyday a fight
They are justing wondering when
To go into the light

People who know them care
But this they can't observe
Their tired of their life
It's on a never-ending curve

For themselves, they see no future
They want their life to end now
As they think it wouldn't matter
No one would care anyhow

As they end their life
From the spot where they lay
Their family and friends
Suffer every minute of every day
