Mother of us all

by enfant du tordu chagrin   Jul 27, 2005

Witness Mother Nature’s Beauty
Marvel at her stunning might
For what else is there, in this world
Can make it change, from day to night

The Breathtaking landscapes that are her skin
As beautiful as can be
The forests that represent her hair
Her eyes, seen in the sea

What other mother gives so much life
Her children, they truly vary
And she offers succour to us all
Nothing need be wary

Her temper, most terrible to behold
Eruptions, Flash Floods and ‘quakes
Anything that she wants to go
Invariably breaks

But though her temper we all fear
Nevertheless she must be praised
For though she is not perfect
From her we are all raised.
