We met on a message board,
You left me your asl in a email,
I thought 'hey I could use a new friend!'
Thats how our love story began.

I lived in the shadows for so long,
Giving up on everything I once trusted,
Love, friendship, lust.

I was speechless when you told me you loved me,
I couldn't breathe,
I told you I felt the same way,
I hoped you wouldn't believe.

As the days grew longer,
We became closer.

That heartless night in June when he told you that lie,
Made me live in the shadows again,
It did make me cry.

But then you came back and gave me another chance,
You became the light in my shadowy needed romance.

Now that we are here,
still loving each other,
I'm glad you came to save me.
