Titled My Imperfection

by Sarah Ann   Jul 27, 2005

I looked straight into the mirror
For darkness and nothing more
So long the love was lost there
Shading into the colorful door

The mirror was still reflecting
On what was never meant to be
A million years my life passed
Just where my soul was set free

Crimson tears started dripping
Down a sad face full of regret
Years flashed by in memories
Of what I still wished to forget

Falling down on the fastest lane
My soul was slowly fading away
I leaned up to a world unknown
Looking back for one more day

The tears stain all my darkness
As I stare back at no reflection
If there was a book for my life
It should be titled imperfection

Sorry i had to resubmit this.
