Never Love, Never Die...

by Synyster   Jul 27, 2005

Do I measure up to what I really am?
Or am I a big bad wolf in disguise as a lamb?
Why do I hold onto old dreams,
When all they cause are my anguished screams?
Overwhelmed in my shattered heart's grief,
In nowhere but death can I find my release.
I tell myself it's the only way to be free
To escape this loveless existence that came to be…
So cast out my broken soul,
Cover me up in my six foot hole.
For I lost my one and only love,
He goes to the call of warplanes above .
Bound by the chains of a broken tattered heart,
I must find a place where we can be apart.
So lull me to sleep with your sad lullaby.
Rock me to dream land and say goodbye.
There I will go never to wake,
Never to love and make the same mistake…

I was actually stunned reading this, I can honestly say this is the best love poem I have read!

the flow was brillient and from the first two lines "Do I measure up to what I really am?
Or am I a big bad wolf in disguise as a lamb?" I was completely stuck to the screen!

Wow, sorry its just so great x)
