Day by day I waited
But by the hours my hope faded
Tears flowed like rivers into an icy sea
I was sure you had abandoned me
I regret never letting it show through
But my fallen angel, I realize that I love you.

Night by night, I called your name,
But the silence cut into my pain,
Only then did I stop and see,
That you were still with me.
Do not let go!
You are my only breath,
You are my shining soul.
Take my hand and hold me close,
Taste my lips, I do not boast.

I wonder if this reality is true
I watch the wind blow through the trees
As my mind traces back to visions of you
I feel your hand on my heart
But you're not really here
And I'm about to fall apart
Because, for your life, I fear
Please stop for I will cry
Please don't turn away, don't say goodbye.

This is the true song
One for the broken hearted
For those who long
For their dearly departed
For those who hope
To see dawn rise
And someday find their love's eyes

And from there they shall cry
From their saddened eyes
Let their songs be heard
Let nature be stirred
By the new hidden light
Of the their holy sight

Please, I beg, return to me
My fallen angel - messenger of doom
For with you, left my sanity
And came this shroud of gloom
Come to me by moonlight
Come to my frosty window

Through the silence of the snow

Soon I shall suffer my fate
Death comes soon at the ends of a blade
Bleak clouds surrounding - alarming rate
All for my own feelings I forbade
I found myself rejected
A wound that won't heal
A heart that's dejected
Cannot truly feel
