The orphan.

by Steven Beesley   Jul 28, 2005

Cast out from birth and so full of hurt.
You had no choice, you were sacrificed.
With no warmth and no family.
Without hope and without any joy.

No parents love and encouragement.
Nor care or badly needed nourishment.
Growing up with such discouragement.
Disillusionment and abandonment, your life shall be.

From the very start, you shall grow up with a very cold heart.
Dejected and with bitterness in every part.
Never to know how love could keep you whole, such an empty soul.
So desolate and so far apart.

My close mate sarah got abanded by her mum when she was born. She got adopted into a family, a really loving family, but it hurts me to think she may feel like this.. I hope she doesnt.
