Catherine

by Georgi   Jul 28, 2005

*Catherine suffered from a meningitus bacteria one night when she was 18 months old, and since then she has never been the same little girl.*

A girl with hair as blond as the sun,
Lifts her head and smiles all week.
Gets some attention from Dad and Mum,
However, she still does not speak.

Her silent words speak the truth,
Her brown eyes are filled with pain,
She woke one night when she wwas two,
And has never been the same.

Her thumb she uses for protection,
from this cruel, confusing place.
She sees pain in her reflection,
But i see beauty in her face.

The little angels only three,
So from her pain she will one day part.
I can only wish her to be free,
So she can smile with her heart.

I am so sorry about that! A girl just died in one of the high schools from a bacterial infection...I think it was Spinal meningitus...I hope Catherine is okay once more and that her pain fades...

    Hope the best for Catherine,
the flow could use some adjusting, try adding some detail in the emotions
    good though
