She cries in the wind
with the pain in her voice
as she tries to mend
her broken hearts choice

as tears of blood fall
she looks through a hole to see,
but theres nothing there at all
where her heart used to be

now looking inside
at the darkness with in
with nothing left besides
her loves careless sin

wondering how and why
she even really cared
because it was all a big lie
to much for her to bare

so when she cut herself with the knife
she didn't let out a cry
as she slowly took her life
and layed down to die

taking her last breath
she grasped for one more
but meet her own death
as her blood stained the floor

her parents cried
and her friends weeped
knowing she had died
from emotions that cut deep

as he walked in
he knew it was his fault
and that he lost his best friend
making her life come to a sudden halt

he didn't mean to hurt her
or steal her sacred heart
he tried to forget about her
but that was the hardest part

he wont ever forget
his love for was true
but he couldn't even tell her
and from that his sadness grew

now darkness fills his eyes
where love used to be
he thinks and he tries
to believe she is now free

but no matter what he thinks
he knows its a lie
making his heart sink
knowing hes the reason she died...
