Melancholy music

Melancholy music calls me out of this constant slumber
Bloodstains line the walls interupted by thunder
Therapeutic words to comfort all but me
Satanic voices comfort me whilst I float in the midnight sea

Where do you go to escape from your mind
The silver moonlight calls me to leave life behind
A noose made of midnight a blade made of pain
Yet the harsh jerk to reality awakens me again

Everyone, the world is wrapped up in its sadness
Too selfish to see the people consumed by madness
Shadows stalk the weary and reside in my head
You're not the only one who woke up wishing to be dead

Sacrifice my happiness to see a smile on your face
Though I cannot cope in this torn apart place
But the tears must be hidden and driven away
As I collapse within myself on this bleak summers day

The suns rays are stopping the cold settles in
Dear god, I'm sorry but I'm lost within sin
My heart tells me everything I don't want to know
My mind tells me thoughts leaves me longing to go

The blade is stained beside my bedside
Brown dried blood from night of voids of terror inside
The sun goes down on happiness yet I'm living the lie
I sit with a smile on but with tears in my eyes
