Life is worth living, Zac

by Just Sierra   Jul 28, 2005

20 times I've tried
To think of what to say
So many things in my head
You've been with me all day

I cry as I write this
Because I can't believe you forgot
What about our little talk
And the entire battle that you fought?

You were doing so great!
I'll always be proud of you
But you threw it all away
And tried your life too.

Zac, I know you know this is for you
Because how could I leave you so distraught?
I love you so much more than you'll ever know
I really love you a lot.

So young in years we are
With a future for both of us ahead
So how could you forget the good
When it's all you've ever said?

If you can imagine,
Sadly, i sit listening to the rain
Thinking of you only
And all of your pain

I want to tell you things
You've never heard before
That life has so much to offer
There's so much to live for

You're beautiful and we all know it
So why would you cry?
Surely if you have us at your side
I don't see the need to die!

I know life is so hard
Believe me, I've seen
Sometimes I'd wake up crying
Hoping it was a dream

But, baby, I can't stress it enough
You have me completely at your side
So tell me why you hurt so bad
And tell me why you've cried.

I swear I'll listen to every word
I'll comfort you and hold you tight
Because I need you more than you know
I only wish I could set things right

So baby let me remind you
That you have so much more
You have me to remind you, always
That life is worth living for.

We all care about him. the problem is, some of the feelings aren't mutual. It's all my fault, Sierra, that he said that to you. He's still alive, he's working and everything. He'll be fine, like you said, with all these people at his side. So I'm one less person... it's ok. Read my new poem "fixed goodbye", after you read his "broken goodbye"... maybe it'll make more sense. ttyl, sweetie. Good poem.
