Killing yourself

by Emma   Jul 28, 2005

I can see the blood.
I can feel it drip.
I see the blood on the knife.
I see the pain in my eyes.
I hear my breathing get louder.
I hear the sound of the blade cut threw my skin.
I feel the life draining from me.
I feel my hate.
I smell my perfume.
I smell the alcohol on your breath.
I taste my blood.
I taste my poison.
I can see Hell.
I see me flying away.
I hear my voice trailing away.
I feel the heat.
I smell burning flesh.
I taste pure evil.

fix the grammar and this will be the most powerful poem you can get. It has more emotion and is painfully relative to so many people, but because poems are very meaningful, they need to mean what you imply. So to say "threw" instead of "through" sort of weakens it.

dont take my cynicality to heart.

    Very harsh, but powerful. 5/5.

that is great work...I was hoping to avoid reading it b/c the title suggests there may be some bloody imagery or something...but you asked, and I read it....I love the shortness, your style seems to work well.
