Losing It

The person I see is unknown
The hollowed eyes that I have
Seeing only the darkness from my life
The body I’m borrowing
Having a non-existent heart
My hands touching my translucent face
Frowning from despair and grief
Tears flowing down my face
But they just go back into me
This is me

I look in the mirror
A different person looking back
Their eyes full of happiness
This soul smiling back at me
I see this person is alive
A face like a angel
A body with a vivid soul
With a Heart
Just looking back at me
This isn’t me

My lost soul on the other side
It reaches for me
With its non-transparent hand
I trying to reach it
