Poetic collectives.

by Steven Beesley   Jul 29, 2005

Walking down the paths which our poetic fore Fathers trod.
We search for more words of wisdom.
A cauldron brimming in thought.
So much collective and sensible intuition.

Striving for the fruits of further enrichment.
A devouring appetite that we must feed.
A frenzy goal for perfection we seek.
Welcoming any and all illumination without an ounce of discrimination.

Continuous training is what is sought.
With new and better improvisations.
So eager are we to try new fields to plough, sow our words in such profusion.
To welcome more among us in full anticipation.

I love the first stanza of this poem! So much truth in this piece. We all have the same goal of growing as writers. Your choice of words were exellent. Brilliant, creative idea for a poem. Very well done! Take Care! Brooke~
