Gladiator

by Mark   Jul 29, 2005

Fear bolts through his body
At the speed of light
He feels so scared
He feels so much fright

It is about to happen
There is nothing he can do
There is no escape
No one to help him through

He must do this on his own
There is no other way
He's lived twenty-four years
But this could be his last day

The colossal doors open
There is a mighty roar
Blood and guts everywhere
The crowd scream for more

He's eyes entwine with he enemy's
He is looking his killer in he eye
Waiting to lose his life
Waiting to say goodbye

He take his last breathe
And sees his last view
He moves his last muscle
And waves bye to what he once knew

He falls to he ground
As blood pours from his chest
He was a great gladiator
One of the best
