Have you ever tried, have you ever lied,
have you ever died, thanks to suicide,
have you ever felt this kind of pain,
have you ever been driven insane,
I wonder if you've ever done any of the things I've done,
I wonder if you've ever done all for one or all for none,
I wonder if you've ever tried what I've contemplated,
committing suicide, when life seems overrated,
and if you have been through these things,
if you've taken the pain that it brings,
have you ever survived, with few reasons to stay alive,
have you ever survived, with but one reason to strive,
well I have, and I am, and I shall continue,
and I have, and I am, not much on my menu,
but here I am, I'm standing tall,
here I am, fighting not to fall,
here I am, so long I was gone,
but I am back, and I will carry on...
