As I lay here once like we've been
Though the little we've seen
Times when you made me smile
And when I was helpless and fragile
Now you're gone I'm left here to cry
With that world you died
Can't believe it's the last we'll see
Filing each other with such glee
You showed me not to cross my limit
But now you're gone I've ended up in a pit
Wondering where long ago had gone
Where I no longer saw the sun
When I was consumed by the dark
Enduring pain as I fought for a spark
When all my innocence shed their clothes
And vanity rose that I no longer could see my toes
How all this stress and hunger arose
No longer moving back or forth cause time has froze.
Please commment and it is a metaphoric poem.Innocence being shed is all about growing up physically and mentally.
