Ebony Sky

by lindzy   Jul 30, 2005

The ebony sky
Looms down on me
Mixing in with
The mists of the sea

There on the shore
My life must end
This is because
Of my selfish friend

The mistic night
Blackened by sorrow
Knows that this teen
Won't be here tomorrow

She's taken the plunge
And used her knife
Her body left bare
From her tormented life

An abusive father
And a lover to follow
And an evil friend
Has turned her hollow

What she wants now
Is to say goodbye
But there is no one
That'll hear her cry

She lies on the shore
Blood covers her soul
Another troubled girl
No one could control

All's that she wanted
Was to have love
And maybe she'll find it
In heaven above
