When SomeOne Says

When some one says to me
That I’m just a dirty little s l u t
It reinforces all the times
My mum called me a m u t t

When some one says to me
That I’m not going to become anything good
It makes me think about me
And what I actually could

When some one once said
That I was beautiful and kind
I looked at them strangely
And asked if they were blind

After years of emotional torment
Hurt, blood, loss and pain
It is now my turn for revenge
And will fall like winter time rain

I don’t look in the mirror
And see a beautiful person looking back
I look into the hell called my life
And see only what I lack

Because of people so cruel
This is what I have to endure
It was like candy to a baby
It was like a fishing lure

Thank you so much, for all of your love
I was over cast, like a shadow in the night
My wings have been clipped and broken
I will just fall, and I will not take flight

This is me, I am what you made me
