you said you'd be there till the end
does that mean the end is here?
not that i know you're not near

you told me you'd always be there
you told me you really did care
now i know it was just a lie
you just wanted to see me cry

you're telling me now it was all a mistake
this is more than i can take
throught all the pain and all the tears
somehow i still want you here

but you say it won't work out
you don't seem to have a doubt
