In a Child's MInd

by penny milner   Jul 30, 2005

In a child’s mind
In a child’s mind
We can not understand the thoughts
Because a child’s mind is filled with secrets
That we lose as time goes on.

For in a child’s mind
Thoughts of princesses and cowboys rule
In a child’s mind
They see things with a different view.

In a child’s mind
The ocean isn’t just an ocean
The ocean in a child’s mind
The ocean is where the mermaids play and live

In a child’s mind
The forest isn’t just a forest
In a child’s mind it’s enchanted forest
Where the unicorns ride and raise their young

In a child’s mind
The world isn’t just the world
In a child’s mind
It’s where adventures can happen

In a child’s mind
The world is a place of wonder
In a child’s mind the world is their dream
In child’s mind is where true wonder lies
