Soon Proven

by Jacklyn   Jul 31, 2005

She just does not understand,
No, she just does not,
There is no possible way she could,
My heart cries for her tender touch,
To be able to just tuck her hair behind her ear,

No… he only turned me down,
Because she does not know,
Time… yes just give her time.
Soon enough she’ll realize she loves me.

I will help her, yes, yes I will,
I need her, yes I do,
Right now, it’s eating me up,
The hunger, the need my thirst,
Just rotating and teasing within me.

How I wish my lips could just pressure upon hers,
To run my hand gently among her bare flesh,
Letting the silence be swallowed with sweet moaning words,
Expressing our true feelings, when she confess,
That she loves me, yes because she does,
The same way I love her, which soon to her I’ll prove.

~i got this as an idea when i watched opera about abusive relationships. i know it is certainly not my best peice and i also wrote this before i went on vacation just to let you know.~

I read this poem with two different perspectives. Both brought a different outcome to the poem. Well done on writing it, it's well-thought-out.
