Unknown Significance

To love and to be loved,
Sometimes totally linked other time complete opposites.
Why does the world say that a sweet guy is everything?
When in reality it gets you nothing?
To find yourself constantly caught in the opposites,
In loving your significant other in else known unsignificance,
Only to watch as they are manipulated by others and be constantly hurt yet they love,
And you remain in the shadows as the "woulda if I wasnt"
