Don't Close Your Eyes

When you close your eyes, you hope it goes away
the scary things, just like people say
you close your eyes so tight
hoping to have it goes away with out the fight

well if thats what scares you, I'm telling you what you haven't seem
after all this world isn't exactly a dream
if this is what you have to face
you might want you close your eyes...just in case

in this word there is life and death
its like when you are awake and like when you've slept
you're not there to face the betrayal of whats around you
you'll be forced to do things you don't want to

you'll have to fight for what you want
you'll want to be happy but thats only a desire
with all your fears to haunt you, thats something you'll learn to conquer

here, there is hate
people push you around and tell you things
after what happens you'll figure its too late
whats done is done
the wars you fought, only some were won

in this place, you'll find it easy to be lost
to see what you've won and and how you were taught
but in the end you'll make it though
because if you don't, you'll never find the real you
