I miss the way you held me close,
And kissed away my pain.
I miss the way you'd smile at me,
As i played, childishly in the rain.

I miss the simple things you did,
That made life worth the while.
I miss the way your hand fit mine,
And i definitely miss your smile.

I miss watching scary movies,
When you held me close as i screamed.
You'd smile at me, and made me feel,
Like I'd be safe through anything.

I miss all those walks,
We took together,
Holding hands,
And talking about forever.

I miss the songs you sang to me,
And the smell of your cologne.
I miss the feel of your arms around me,
And kissing on the porch when you took me home.

I miss lying on the ground at midnight,
Watching the stars and naming each one.
I miss the way you used to love me,
And how we used to have so much fun.

I miss the things you would say to me,
When i was feeling down.
I miss the way you tickled me,
To make me laugh when i wore a frown.

I miss the way our eyes would lock,
In the middle of class and you would blush.
I miss how perfect we were,
Before you decided that we weren't to rush.

I miss the way we always made up,
At the end of every fight.
We'd cry and yell, then realize it was dumb,
And laugh about it the whole night.

I miss the way it felt,
To not feel pain from a broken heart.
I just wish that i could find a way,
To go back to the very start.

I miss the happiness i felt with you,
And the smile you put on my face.
Without you I'm not anything,
Just a broken heart, with an empty space.

I miss the way you loved me,
And i hope you know that i still love you.
I cry every night, and miss you still,
I just wish that you missed me too....
