I thought i heard raindrops,
but the sun lied outside,
i thought i felt pain,
theres no thorn in my side,
i thought i heard fun,
but loneliness bored on,
i thought we had begun,
but end you yelled strong,
i thought i heard the gun,
but the race vexed still,
i thought we had fun,
but i wasn't a thrill,
i thought i smelt fire,
but love was frozen stiff,
i was nothing to desire,
the same old rubbish riff,
i swore i heard magic music,
but my note wavered dim,
i thought i was yours,
but i was nothing to him i swore,
i saw smiles,
nothing to fast hundred of miles away,

for you i knew i saw green,
but was tricked by red,
i felt so clean,
but disgustingly dirty instead,
i didn't see deception,
i didn't see lies,
i did see loneliness,
and now i hear cries....
