The endless pain

The pain and sadness that takes over my life
Is covered up by my smiling face
And the lies that I embrace.

The tears I’ve cried
Could fill the deep blue see
And my emotions
Expressed in the violent waves.

Nothing could cure
The endless cuts,
The stabs in my heart,
Or the tears I have lost.

My heart bleeds for no one.
All is lost in the depths of confusion.
My forgiveness is limited.
I’ve lost your trust,
And you’ve lost my respect

But I’m still here with open arms,
With no more strength
to cry my own tears
or to feel my own pain.
