Once upon a time, not too long ago
I’ll share a story of a girl, who thought her heart would never grow
In her heart she always knew she was a great catch,
But very naive that her soul would ever find it’s match.
Wishing one day she would find that one who would love her so much
Craving the kisses, hugs, and every warm loving touch
Just a couple of years later he would walk into her life
Loving him so, yet she had the title of another man’s wife.
Apart from her husband for over two years
Back then tried to be loyal and not listen to her peers
She grew to realized one day that their love was not true
She started to love herself and vowed never again to be so blue
Now back to the day he walked into her life…..
He made her see that dreams could never be out of her sight.
Everything she wanted to be, she could!!!
And by her side he would make sure she would.
Did I mention she had two beautiful angels of her own?
He would give them the fatherly love that they were never really shown
He became the missing piece to their puzzle of life
Being their loving father and planning the day she would become his wife
Just a little while ago, she had felt so alone
Now with her complete family, she would feel the love and in every day it has shown.
Now every night she gives thanks to her Lord above
For giving her this unconditional love
This is my story and with their love I feel complete
No other lifestyle can or will ever compete
Love once competed with hate, and then never had won
But on this day, love and I did overcome
With the help of this man, my beautiful daughter and gorgeous son
Mastering unconditional love, with uncontrollable laughter
Our family now lives happily ever after
