Flying beauty

by Sabine Taylor   Aug 2, 2005

Fluttering through the hot summer wind
As sunbeams reflect on its wings
Colourful it uplifts towards the sky
To the clouds flashing by
Unique it’s shine of flying beauty

Floating from one flower to another
To rest on a petal
For a second or two
To undo its wings in unreleased grace

Entirely its glory in pattern and colour
To be seen as gleaming spot in distance
Able to touch the sun and the clouds
Born to devise its elegant shape

Once again, a truly magnificent piece! As the others have said, you've got a way with words and an eye beauty! This in itself is a great gift.
