Locked away with the key thrown into the darkest room
As I sit within myself waiting for the shadows to consume
Shot down with a silver arrow, lost in a mystery
My heart stings as the knife shoots through my harmony

Echoes, a lost moment caught in a photograph
Once where the little girl could smile and laugh
Fighting the war with this rhythm pounding in my ears
Marching to the soft depression along with the army of fear

Lightning streaks across the moonlit sky
Sealed with anger enveloped with the tears I cry
Rolling thunder crashes through the tranquil war
Personalities clash on the front line as before

Blades sharpened, serious faces reflect my feeling
Slashing the night into oblivion to stop the healing
Feet moving gently to the drums lashing the skin
Pools of hatred residing in my eyes like gentle sin

Perfect days are but a distant string of memory
The light dims throughout the citys and countries
Overcome by death as the butchery lives
Drained of energy and happiness, no comfort to give

Looming buildings become demons through my eyes
Mirrors falling through this figure I despise
Swords clash within the battlefields of my mind
Leaving ashes of the fallen, hymns to remind

Roses wilt as they break through to the shadowed inside
The reaper stands watching from the black ringside
His tall figure a statue to leave a constant hate
With these deeps anger scars lies a murderous fate

The sun is shattered from the sky with a bullet of blue
Screams are lost in oblivion without help from you
A fallen bird flutters gently as it falls to the ground
I fall along with it, death making no sound
