Why does love?

Why must love be so cruel
In world full of so much pain
Why must love hurt you once
Then time and time again

Why does love tear you up
When it is supposed to heal your wounds
Why does love break your heart
When it is supposed to make it bloom

Why does love make you cry
When your just about to smile
Why does love make you believe
You'll be happy for a while

Why does love cause you anguish
And hurt you so inside
Why does love bring you to life
Then cause you to die
