Sail Of Dreams

by Pygmalion   Aug 2, 2005

So many years ago
When we were still free
Like a bleeding shadow
Over the endless sea

We row our ams off
With the hope to be released
Maybe just one more scoff
To be free from this beast

The golden sunsets
Never seemed so grey
Wiping off the sweats
Chained in the hallway

The deck is desolate
Daylight went to sleep
The odor of phosphate
Makes your tired eyes weep

Our arms like rotten wood
Rowed millions of gallons away
But do you think we ever could
Be free men today
