Matrimony

by Michael D Nalley   Aug 2, 2005

For this cause a man shall leave his parents, and cleave to his wife
And the two shall become one flesh, faithful to each other for life
Whether in sickness or in health, whether in poverty or in wealth
Together always through joy and sorrow, or the hardships that may come tomorrow

It is natural desire for man to take a bride
For to love and honor her and keep her by his side
Unless the Almighty Lord has called him for His very own
With the supernatural desire to live with God alone

Whether for children or for love,
Or all of the causes above
Grace of God is a need
In order to succeed
