I'm Now Happy With Who I Am.

I'm looking back on my life
On the days before now
The days that were filled with strife
Back when I didn’t know who I was

Looking back on what I was before
I can now smile and laugh
But back then I wanted more
I wanted to be someone else

I thought I was ugly
That I wasn't worth anything
I didn't think anyone would like me
Thought It'd always be that way

I would look at people and say
"Why can't I look like that?"
I would say that everyday
Until I had little self esteem

But now all that's changed
Thanks to one very special guy
All my thoughts have rearranged
I am now happy with me

"You're beautiful" is all he had to declare
Those two simple words changed my life
I can look in the mirror without a care
And be happy with what I see

That special guy is no longer here
But I'll never forget what he said
Thanks to him I changed that year
I am now happy with who I am.

One person can change how you feel
All you have to do is believe
After that you're happiness can be real
And you to can be happy with what you see.
