NOT SURE WHAT TO DO

I thought I had it all figured out,
My beliefs, opinions, and what I’m all about,
But now I’m stuck with nowhere to turn,
And I can't go back because all the bridges are burned,
Yesterday is lost, now all I have is tomorrow,
I’m sick of being confused and in constant sorrow,
Why can't I just find the words to tell you how I feel?
Why does my life no longer feel real?
My mind and heart can't seem to agree,
And I’ve lost track of the person I used to be,
I feel that the things that I want to do,
Are far too dull for someone like you,
But I can't explain to you the reason why,
I don’t want to do something I have yet to try,
Maybe it’s out of regret or maybe even fear,
Of loosing the one I love dear,
We’ve done so much but so much more is left to do,
So much that I feel I don’t want to do with you,
Not because I don’t have lave in my heart,
I just wish we could go back to the start,
When things were easier and time was not the enemy,
And everything was wonderful between you and me.
