Blowing

by cindy   Aug 2, 2005

Sitting in this chair
My feelings blowing away
wondering thoughts undone
Begging them to stay

Where did I go wrong

I held my hand
I tried to cry

I
gasped
and I gasped
But there is no
air

The chair is now turned over beside me
and the carpet feels like steel wool
naked, cold and shaking
the hair from my head has my hands full

sweat drips down my back like the blood from a freshly slaughtered sheep
at least its dark in here and I can not see what I can not keep
