Diamond Eyes

Diamond Eyes
Shine in the sunshine.
Intoxicating beauty
Smiling on the outside.
You'd never believe
she cries on the inside.

She's all alone again
the tears they come to her eyes
but she holds them back
behind her disguise.
Her perfect world
is falling apart
Her friends, her family
her perfectly unbroken heart.

She never thought it would come to this
Never thought she'd be put through so much sh*t.
She couldn't back out, couldn't move forward
Her life was slowly going downhill.

Now she's lying on her bathroom floor
shower on to cut the noise
knife pressed against her skin
her soul cries from within.
her life had just begun
and now it is over
we'll surely miss her.
