A Petal

I'm grieving for a dear friend
Who's lost some one so close
And at her funeral, upon her coffin
He realeased a bright red rose

Upon this rose in which he threw down
Were petals for a beautiful soul
And as he released his final goodbye
In his heart started to grow a hole

A petal for all of the good times
A petal for all of the bad
A petal for all of the times they helped eachother
And a petal for now feeling sad

A petal for hope, and one for love
And another one for death
A petal for his regrets, and continuous wishes
And a petal for her dearest last breath

    Hey, i really liked this, it's beautifuly written and there is sooooo much emotion in it. I hope you're holding out okay, cos i know how hard it is when someone you're close to dies.
