Inside I Turn Numb

by Nicholle   Aug 3, 2005

In the darkness,
cold and black,
I reminisce,
my thoughts attack

I'm alone,
left to face this pain,
so many emotions,
that I must contain

Inside I'm dying,
My feelings turn numb,
I'm disappointed,
at who I've become

Inside of me,
happiness fades away,
A piece of me dies,
every day

Soon I'll be nothing,
A body left behind,
Because in me,
everything will be intertwined

I'll just be a body,
without thoughts or control,
Because all these memories,
are tearing out my soul

Slowly I'm dying,
yet I'm still here,
but don't worry darling,
I've shed my final tear
