She was just another face, Not a special girl, Anyone could take her place. A shadow in the group, The Popular society ignored her, Social standards ran in a loop. To everyone she was no one, A smart girl, She didn't know how to have fun. Over her swept a foggy mist, Clouded darkness, Now she was on it's list. She couldn't stand this neglect, She couldn't even stand in front of the mirror to look at her own reflection. It was time for a change, This was a hard change, A change only she could re-arrange. All those years of pain, All those years of torture, There was only one thing left to gain. She lost the glasses, Changed her attitude, and started ditching classes. A personality flip, No one knew who she was, She tried hard not to slip. Her grades were falling, Along with her parents pressuring her, Teachers kept calling. Soon she wanted her life to end, Staying away from home wasn't good enough, So the razor became her new best friend. The pain was good at first, But soon wasn't good enough, She needed something else to quench her thirst. She turned to the drug, This green leaf was her friend, She swept this secret under the rug. Her new interest became older men, Sex to her was not a sin, She thought, "So what then!" She had her fun, But soon payed the price, Her name was known to everyone. The hurtful names, Soon took a toll, To everyone this was a game. Now she sits all alone, Afraid to walk outside, She sits in her home. Depressed she's still, Afraid to leave, The rest of her dreams, She can not fufill.~
