She was an angel
you broke her wings
you took the world from her
you told her mean things

she was naive
but who at her age isn't?
you told her you loved her
when you knew that you didn't

she was beautiful
so you hid her from the world
you told her no-one would want her
you lied to that girl

she was innocent
the definition of good
but you took that all out of her
just cause you could

she was loved
you made her feel hated
her smile was there
now its worn out and faded

she was special
and you know what? she still is
and she shouldn't feel like nothing
just cause of something you did!
