The visit

by SammiBABY   Aug 3, 2005

When I first met you,
You had me wondering why,
Why you’d come to see me,
When I’d never passed you by

The conversation, initially free,
About nothing but the weather,
But when I realized who you were,
I feel just like a feather.

I wondered why we met that night,
And what you meant to me,
I felt that we’d ever met again,
Like this was all meant to be.

The exact same room,
Crystal water still in place,
Only this time you looked hurt,
Terror concealed your face.

You said some words to me,
I firstly did not comprehend,
But I realized that you were in pain,
And you did not think it’d mend.

At the point I did not understand,
Why you came to me,
Were these words meant to scare me?
What was this meant to be?

But then today I was struck,
By the truth and wanted to cry,
Because the truth is that you visited me
Because you couldn’t let me die.

For Amy~~~
Midnight’s shadow contacted the essence,
I was so honored to be in your presence.

Thanks for these words:
“Compared to getting over your own death;
getting over the death of someone else is easy.”

R.I.P Amy.
Always Sammi.
